ISPS in the Port of HaminaKotka

Port of HaminaKotka Ltd's safety procedures (International Ship & Port Facility Security Code) are compliant with international and national regulations for the safety procedures of vessels and the ports servicing them. The Finnish national regulatory office, the Finnish Transport Safety Agency, has audited and approved the Port’s safety assessments and plans.

The Port uses the best appropriate technology and focuses continuously on facilitating normal operations, despite the tightened security measures. The Port continues to develop its operation and improve cooperation, while at the same time complying with security requirements.

Successful security in a fast-changing work environment like a port requires the commitment of every business. Whenever someone working in the port area notices anything that might jeopardise security or personal safety, they must, at all times, report it to their supervisors or to the Port of HaminaKotka’s Safety and Security Manager.
