Port of Hamina Ltd., established in 2001, is the port authority for the Port of Hamina. The share capital is owned entirely by the town of Hamina. Port of Hamina Ltd., for its part, owns the stevedoring enterprise HMT Ltd and the business operations of Hamina Port Terminals Oy and Oy Haminan Satamahuoltola.
